 Crew Visa Requirements for Türkiye 

Crew members joining vessels in Turkish Ports or passing through Turkish Straits may be subject to different visa requirements depending on nationality.
Some nationalities can join vessels without a visa, while others require a consulate visa or a Transit Visa on Arrival, which can be arranged by ID Shipping Agency.

The Turkish Government has announced the Transit Visa fee for 2026 as TRY 9,376.40 per crew member for embarkation or disembarkation in Türkiye.
Please refer to the categories below based on the crew member’s nationality.
Crew members holding passports from the following countries do not require a visa and are exempt from the transit visa fee:

Albania, Andorra, Argentina, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belize, Bolivia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Brunei, Bulgaria, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Denmark, Ecuador, El Salvador, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Honduras, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Iran, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macau, Malaysia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Morocco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, North Macedonia, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Qatar, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Serbia, Seychelles, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tajikistan, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Tunisia, Ukraine, Uruguay, Uzbekistan, Vatican City, Venezuela.
Crew members from the following countries must obtain a Transit Visa upon arrival in Türkiye and pay the visa fee of TRY 9,376.40:

Antigua and Barbuda, Armenia, Australia, Bahamas, Barbados, Bermuda, Canada, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Fiji, Grenada, Haiti, India, Indonesia, Jamaica, Maldives, Mauritius, Mexico, Micronesia, Namibia, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Samoa, Solomon Islands, South Africa, Suriname, Taiwan, Tonga, United Kingdom (UK), United States of America (USA), Vanuatu.
Crew members holding passports from the following countries must obtain a visa from a Turkish Consulate or Embassy prior to travel. Visa on arrival is not permitted:

Afghanistan, Algeria, Angola, Bangladesh, Benin, Bhutan, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cambodia, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, China, Comoros, Congo (Dem.
