Port of Samsun
Port of Samsun is the main commercial port on the central Black Sea coast of Türkiye. The port serves export, import, and transit cargoes and acts as a strategic hub for trade between the Black Sea region, Central Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.

Port Overview
Situated on the central Black Sea coast, Port of Samsun is one of Türkiye’s most important multipurpose ports. Thanks to its strategic position, the port supports international trade routes connecting the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Region (BSECR), Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and the Middle East, including intermodal transport via the Rhine–Main–Danube corridor.
The port is protected by extensive breakwater infrastructure, ensuring safe navigation and berthing operations.
